Hi! I absolutely love this recipe! My family is from the Philippines also, holidays and birthdays are the best! I was wondering, if you don't mind if you would happen to know the "REAL" recipe for kakanin? I'm pretty sure you know what I'm talking about. I kind of remember it having a light brownish color and my grandma used to bring it out of the oven. It was sweet and sticky, and soooo delicious! All the other recipes I have found, don't sound like the one I used to eat when I was little. It would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! Thanks for your time! By the way, if I could rate your Grandma's recipe six stars, I would! The taste brought back so many memories. thank you!!!!
